Overview
Little Doodles is an education app for children to learn letters, numbers, fruits, and animals through drawing and colouring. We designed the app to collect minimal data and to keep learning progress on your device.
This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and your choices.
Information we collect
Data stored on your device (local only)
The app saves the following on your phone or tablet using local storage:
- Learning progress — which cards your child marked as completed
- Stars earned — a simple count of stars
This data stays on the device, is not sent to our servers (we do not operate a backend for this app), and can be removed by clearing the app’s data in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
Drawings
Finger drawings are kept in the app’s memory while the app is running. Drawings are not saved to disk and are lost when the app is closed, unless we add save features in a future version (this policy would be updated).
Data we do not collect
We do not require an account. The app does not knowingly collect name, email, phone, address, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or contacts. The app does not show ads.
Text-to-speech
The app uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech to read words aloud. Speech is processed on the device. We do not receive audio or transcripts.
Children’s privacy
Little Doodles is intended for young learners used with a parent, guardian, or educator. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Progress is stored locally only.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information, contact us below and we will help you delete local app data via device settings.
Third parties
We do not sell personal information or share user data with third parties for marketing. Google Play may process limited technical data when you download or update the app, under Google’s policies.
Security
Local data is protected by your device’s operating system. Please supervise young children’s use of shared devices.
Your choices
- Delete progress: Android → Settings → Apps → Little Doodles → Storage → Clear data
- Stop using the app: Uninstall the app
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date.
